Toronto School of TCM

At the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, we are dedicated to the promotion, education and service of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the successful and rewarding careers of our students, and as a health benefit for the general public.

The mission of the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine is to provide the highest standard of education in an effort to promote and advance the development and service of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Canada. By offering high-quality professional training, we are striving to make a substantial contribution to the health and well-being of the Canadian society.

To accomplish our mission, we have set the following objectives:

  • To provide the highest quality professional training with a comprehensive program in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture.
  • To promote the integration of Traditional Chinese Medicine as a complement to mainstream healthcare system.
  • To conduct research in Traditional Chinese Medicine.
  • To serve the local community by offering quality medical service at the school clinics.
  • To facilitate the regulation and recognition of Acupuncture and TCM in Ontario.

Here's Why the Toronto School of Chinese Medicine is the Right Choice...

Comprehensive

We, at the Toronto School of Traditional Chinese Medicine, believe that the new generation of traditional Chinese medicine professionals should be trained with a comprehensive program that integrates modern technology with the ancient remedies as well as the oriental philosophy with the western cultures. Thus, our comprehensive program meets the licensing and certifying requirements in Canada and the United States. Our students study in a dynamic classroom environment with active participation under critical support from knowledgeable instructors.

Qualified Instructors

Outstanding instructors are our biggest asset. They are high-calibre professionals with years of experience, fully qualified in the courses they teach, and in touch with the latest trends in the TCM fields.

Step-By-Step

You learn in a step-by-step system. Our program is divided into single subject modules that can be taken one at a time or in an intensive comprehensive manner. The Diploma/Certificate programs in acupuncture/Chinese herbal medicine/tuina massage allow students to choose and concentrate on one of the modalities at a time and work towards the completion of the comprehensive program in TCM if they wish.

Hands-On

Practical, hands-on training combined with the theory both in class and in clinic. Together with real-life case studies, allows you to apply, practice and improve the skills you learn. You get a solid, broad-based TCM understanding with all the applicable skills that guarantee the success of your career.

Flexible Schedules

Half-day classes or evening and weekend studies allow time for a full or part-time job, plus studying and reviewing. Our schedules suit your needs best. Our intensive programs shorten the duration of your studies, help you start your practice sooner and save you time and money.
