Physical Therapist Assistant

As a graduate with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant you can become part of a valued health care team. You will have learned the basic therapeutic principles and applied techniques necessary to provide physical therapy under the direction and supervision of a physical therapist.

Therapeutic Massage Technology - Associate's and Diploma

As a Therapeutic Massage Technology graduate, you will have learned the following basic principles and applied concepts of the therapeutic massage industry to help you achieve success as a licensed massage therapist.

  • Therapeutic massage modalities such as but not limited to Swedish massage, reflexology, seated-chair massage, acupressure, trigger point therapy, deep tissue and sports massage.

  • Vast medical knowledge including medical terminology, universal precautions and infection control, Pathology, Anatomy and Physiology, Gross Anatomy and CPR/First Aid.

  • General office skills such as time management, written and oral communications, business correspondence, paired with the essential computer basics.

  • Client and business management skills ranging from the ability to access clients' needs to managing the communication, financial and marketing aspects of a therapeutic massage business.
